Bobby Phillips has been involved in taxidermy since he was young, starting with smaller projects for himself and friends before beginning to mount professionally for customers in 1990.

From the beginning, Bobby’s focus has been simple: make every piece look as good and as natural as possible. That attention to detail has remained at the heart of his work for more than three decades.

While he has never been interested in competing in taxidermy shows — largely because there has always been plenty of customer work to keep him busy — Bobby continues to challenge himself with every mount that comes through the shop.

For him, the most rewarding part of taxidermy is the process of taking each trophy and making it as beautiful and lifelike as possible.
